The charming village of Metohi is situated in the
mountains of Pelion, and is located 42km from the city of Volos.
Metohi is a very pretty and friendly village, and one that many
visitors to Pelion will stop at.
The main square of the village and its popular water stream fountain,
the old steam roller, dating from 1830, and the stunning views of
the Gulf of Milina, are all images that greet visitors to the village.
It is on the main road between the neighbouring villages of Lafkos
and Argalasti that you will find the popular cafe bar " To
Spitaki". Situated in a very pretty and green area, the "To
Spitaki" cafe bar offers you a perfect place in which to stop
and enjoy a refreshing drink or coffee on your travels around Pelion. |

At "Spitaki" we serve a wonderful selection
of meze, complimented with local tsipouro. We also have a lovely
selection of salads and sandwiches. Our special pizza that we serve
is extremely popular and we receommend you try it for yourself when
you visit us.
Opposite our cafe bar is the natural water spring, where many villagers
and visitors to Pelion stop for fresh cool water. During the summer
months, you can take a seat outside under the shade of the large
plane trees, and enjoy your drink surrounded by the nature that
makes Pelion so special. We also serve a selection of light snacks
and ice creams throughout the summer season. |
During the cold winter months, you can take a seat inside next
to our fireplace, and enjoy your drinks in a very cosy and relaxed
environment.
